ok, that was it...

...next stop, Easter.

I'm taking bets on how long til Cadbury cream eggs get in Tescos.

A week, perhaps? That should be long enough to clear the Christmas stock in the sales and get a shelf free.

The cynicism of the middle aged.

Indeed. That's why it isn't worth getting one's knickers in a twist over it all. Er.... am I really middle aged now? Crikey.

sigh! Every year I promise myself I wont get excited but I do and then every year it all is such a dreary anti-climax that I spend the next 6 months paying for.

Perhaps I should celebrate more festivals - or actually have people over more than once in a blue moon - and then I wouldn't get so hyped up over one day of the year.

They'll be on sale sooner than my oil I ordered 2 weeks ago gets delivered I'll bet.

Think it's just a rotating shelf - not actually updated - at least that's how seasonal chocolate tastes.

Now who's an grumpy cynical old bag?

(And proud of it... )

OK - my mister did a mercy mission lunge to Tescos tonight (out of oven chips) and came back bearing the news that YES! Easter eggs are most definitely on the shelves.

Just felt I had to report in.

*Happy New Year now*

I caved and bought one though because they always sell out of my favourite if I wait.
