Love the candles - what a brilliant idea. Didn't the plastic melt though?
The lake looked fun, but chilly :-)
The plastic warped a little after several uses, but didn't actually melt. I don't think the candles would - it wasn't easy getting a wick down the middle - but they were just a bit of quirky fun.

Candle making—that takes me back! My dad used to make them; I remember sitting and watching him, feeling content and connected. So now I want to do it TOO :) Thank you for the inspiration!
And I love the pics of your trip to the lake. I so love to be near water. We just went camping by the lake and I recharged my batteries—it's so easy to do outdoors, isn't it?
