sigh! Every year I promise myself I wont get excited but I do and then every year it all is such a dreary anti-climax that I spend the next 6 months paying for.
Perhaps I should celebrate more festivals - or actually have people over more than once in a blue moon - and then I wouldn't get so hyped up over one day of the year.
OK - my mister did a mercy mission lunge to Tescos tonight (out of oven chips) and came back bearing the news that YES! Easter eggs are most definitely on the shelves.
Indeed. That's why it isn't worth getting one's knickers in a twist over it all. Er.... am I really middle aged now? Crikey.
